What do stadiums, arenas, casinos, entertainment venues, as well as civic, church and corporate video systems around the country share in common? Their video displays are networked together using Contemporary Research iC-Net systems solutions. From the Mariners to Margaritaville, people are finding a better solution for managing their media.
Why? Because Display Express can network any make and model of TV, flat-panel display, and video projector - Smart TV, IR, or RS-232 control. Users not locked into one brand, one solution for additions, replacement and support. For example, the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, Wachovia Center, UVA's John Paul Jones Arena, and the San Antonio Spurs all added a mix of flat-panel displays to their existing Smart TV systems.
One Network for Control
Display Express is an Ethernet-driven technology. Display Express Web pages can be accessed from anywhere from Internet Explorer or Safari browsers. Advanced .ASP programming manages schedules and delivers easy point-and-click control presets. Display Express bridges the gap between Ethernet and the displays by networking displays over the existing RF coax wiring. No new Ethernet wiring is needed.
Many Solutions
The Display Express through-the-RF technology is easy to install, easy to use, and answers the need for many facility-wide display control applications:
- Sports Venues - Display control and management for new sites, migration from old TV network to new flat-panel systems. We've updatedour own systems, as well as obsolete Philips Smart TV sites.
- Corporations - Display Express controls displays and TVs across the campus, tuning some displays to digital signage channels, others news broadcasts, scheduling power, and triggering emergency and weather alerts.
- Worship Centers - Worship can be heavenly, but managing all those displays facility-wide - not so much. Display Express makes it all happen with a click of a Web button.
- Schools - Several districts use our interactive ABC-Net software to share media, perform video paging, broadcast live video, and schedule TV power and channel operation.
- Prisons - Prisoners can view TV, but Display Express controls what channels they watch, and when.
