PoleCat™ is a line of pole-mounted integration solutions for video projector installations. The initial product is the PoleCat PMT, a bracket that combines a CR AV or HDTV tuner and 232-Amp for integrated, pole-mounted AV tuning, audio mixing, and amplification. The optional SMA bracket mounts the 232-Amp to the top of CR tuner. Ideal for small meeting rooms and classrooms, the system integrates with custom control systems, stand-alone IR control, or links with Display Express software.

When a 232-series CR tuner is integrated, only one RS-232 control port is needed to connect the tuner and 232-Amp. The control is daisy-chained to both, the 232-Amp is pre-set as Unit 1 and the tuner set to Unit 2. An IP-232 Ethernet to RS-232 Interface can control both from its RS-232 port, and the IP-232D Dual Ethernet to RS-232 Interface (available soon) can control the Tuner/Amp combo and a video projector from its dual RS-232 ports.

IC-series tuner/controllers include an RS-232 display/projector control port, an onboard database of control codes for most makes and models, and interactive IR wireless control of the tuner, 232-Amp, and projector power and inputs. Central Display Express Web-based software can control the iC tuners through the same RF coax as the TV channels, providing instant control presets, emergency alerts, and scheduled event management.
