Installation

Video and Power Connections

Video In: Connect BNC composite NTSC video (note that LED will flash when no video is detected)
S-Video Out: Connect S-Video cable (2-D Y/C processed video plus captions)
DC Pwr: Connect DC power supply, Green Pwr LED lights when DC power is active
Operation: Video output should include captions, CC1 mode (default setting)

Video Settings

Video Settings: 4-position DIP switch sets video options
Default settings are: Switch 1 On (down), Switches 2 - 4 Off

Switch 1 On = 75 ohm video input termination, Off = High impedance for looping
Switch 2 On = Luminance (Y) boost (15%), Off = Unity gain
Switch 4 On = Chrominance (C) boost (15%), Off = Unity gain

Rack Mounting

The RK3 Rack Mount Kit makes it a snap to rack-mount and install many CR System Tool products. Simply attach the System Tool into one of three positions on the RK3, placing the included screws into pre-tapped holes in the back of the System Tool. All the connections are on one side, facing the back of the rack. Couldn't be simpler.
