ABC-Web pages provide browser-based access to ABC-Net Media Networks. ABC-Web pages and databases reside in the AMX NetLinx Web Server, and can be accessed by a Web browser in the school network or remotely over the Internet. Via the NetLinx controller, ABC-Web interacts directly with controlled media sources, and networks school TVs through the CATV system through the ICE-HE Ethernet Head End.
ABC-Net is fully self-contained, and does not rely on external network servers or databases to manage the ABC-Net system. As a Java application, ABC-Web is compatible with Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems on the network. No additional software, other than Java, needs to be installed.
