[ ABC-Net Overview ]

Creating One Pathway for All Media
ABC-Net opens the door to a new era of school media networking, operating over the school’s CATV cable system as a common carrier for traditional media, digital media, live video broadcasts, community cable channels, and interactive control.

Cost-Saving Integration
ABC-Net takes advantage of Smart TV technology for low-cost TV control, integrates video projectors and flat-screen displays, and networks over the school’s existing CATV system. ABC-Net's built-in Ethernet server offers web-based setup, diagnostics, and control.

Enabling the Digital Transition
ABC-Net distributes digital media through the CATV network, sending the AV as a standard TV channel. As a result, playback of digital media does not impact the performance the school’s computer network and operates in the same way as familiar analog media.

Simplifying Operation
ABC-Net is a real-time media network, ready to use as soon as it is installed. The library staff manages media as they have done before, but without the hassles of distributing media to classrooms. Teachers can easily take control, following a simple menu on the back of their classroom remote. ABC-Net – instructional media technology without the learning curve.
